Hello everyone, we want to share what God has been doing in Guadalajara these last weeks. We are very grateful with God for His faithfulness, for allowing us to complete the calling He has put in our hearts and for having chosen us for His work.  - Time is flying –just three months ago we began the church! God is doing great things in the church. Every Sunday we see people come to hear the word of God and little by little we are growing. We now have Sunday school classes for the kids and a worship team!  It is a joy for me to have led my friend, Elijah to Christ. Before coming to know Christ, he was my companion on the streets. On April 9th, I had the privilege to send him to a discipleship ranch in Baja California where he will be able to deepen his relationship with God and know “Him who called us out of darkness and into His glorious light”.  Service on Resurrection Sunday, Easter, was a very special day where we remembered that it is Jesus’ resurrection...

January 10th, we got to Guadalajara and began to look for a place to live with the idea of starting a church as an at-home study in our living room. We weren’t able to find anything because all of the homes were too expensive and they had many requirements that we weren’t able to meet. No doubt, God had other plans.  He took us to a place in which we had been considering, in a good location, but it is not a house. It is a small apartment where we live, with an events room with a capacity of 200 people with tables and chairs ready to start. By God’s grace we were able to begin the church in a building. God literally opened the door!  We had our first service Sunday, January 22. We are systematically studying the Gospel of John, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. El 10 de Enero llegamos a Guadalajara y comenzamos a buscar una casa donde vivir. Con la idea de iniciar la iglesia como un estudio en casa, en nuestra sala. Pero  no encontramos nada, todas las casas eran demasiado caras y pedían muchos requisitos que no podíamos cumplir. No cabe duda de que los planes de Dios eran otros. Él nos llevó a un lugar donde no habíamos considerado, un lugar muy bien ubicado y no es una casa. Es un pequeño departamento donde estamos viviendo, con un salón de eventos con capacidad de 200 personas,  con sillas y mesas listo para comenzar. Por la gracia de Dios iniciamos la iglesia en un local. Literalmente Dios abrió esta puerta! Tuvimos nuestra primera reunión el domingo 22 de Enero. Estamos estudiando sistemáticamente en Evangelio de San Juan, capitulo por capitulo, versículo por versículo. Somos 25 personas asistiendo cada semana. Hello, we are really happy to greet you and share a Little of what God has been doing in our lives recently. We give thanks to God for this new year 2017. This weekend our church, Calvary Chapel Rosarito ordained me as pastor of a new church plant, Calvary Chapel Living Hope in Guadalajara. I also had the opportunity to share the vision of the church. #1 PREACH THE WORD. The Bible is our ultimate authority, in our lives, our family and also in the church. We will teach the whole counsel of God chapter by chapter, verse by verse, knowing that the bible contains all we need to know God in a personal way. #2 EXALT THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Philippians 2:5-11 says Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. He died to Himself, left his glory to come to a fallen world, He became a man, He humbled Himself and suffered the cross…HE WAS OBEDIENT! Hello everyone, we are very happy to be able to share this update with you.  This month of November we complete one year at Grace Children’s Home.  It has been a time where we have learned to love and to serve these children, and without a doubt, we will miss them.  But at the same time we are content to know that God has guided us to this point and we will take them with us in our prayers and in our hearts.  Thanks to all, we love you!!! On the 22nd of November, we will travel along with our pastor and some friends to Guadalajara.  We will be there a few days praying for the city and seeking God’s direction for a good place to start the church, Calvary Chapel Living Hope, in February of 2017.  Can you pray for us? –That God would open doors and that we would be able to see what God wants to do in this place!  Pray for the people who have heard the gospel, that Jesus would shine in thier hearts. Hola a todos, estamos muy contentos de poder compartir esta actualización con ustedes. Este mes de noviembre cumplimos un año en Casa Hogar de la Gracia. Ha sido un tiempo donde hemos aprendido amar y servir a estos niños, sin duda los vamos a extrañar. Pero al mismo tiempo estamos contentos de saber que  Dios nos ha guiado hasta aquí  y los llevaremos en nuestras oraciones y en nuestro corazón. Gracias por todo les amamos!!! El 22 de Noviembre viajaremos junto con nuestro pastor y  unos amigos a  Guadalajara. Estaremos allá un par de días orando por la ciudad y  buscando la dirección de Dios por un buen lugar donde comenzar la Iglesia Capilla Calvario Esperanza Viva, en febrero del 2017. ¿Puedes orar por nosotros? Que Dios habrá puertas, y podamos ver lo que Dios quiere hacer en este lugar! Ora por la gente que escuchara el evangelio, que Jesús resplandezca en sus corazones. Hola Dios les bendiga, la verdad este año esta pasando muy rápido. Mi familia y yo estamos muy agradecidos con Dios por todas sus bendiciones. Nos da mucho gusto poder compartir con ustedes algo de lo que hemos estado haciendo los últimos meses. El 4 de Julio mi familia y yo comenzamos a tomar un curso de entrenamiento intensivo de 8 semanas, para futuros plantadores de iglesia Calvary Training Center . Pastores de México y Estados unidos vienen y nos imparten diferentes clases como: Liderazgo Espiritual, Doctrinas Básicas de la Biblia, Plantando Iglesias Bíblicamente, Como preparar un Sermón, Método Inductivo, Apologética, etc. También tengo la oportunidad de poner en práctica lo que estamos aprendiendo a través de alcances en la comunidad. Es una bendición estar otra vez en el colegio bíblico pero ahora con nuestra hija Abigaíl, ella está en una clase con más bebes y su maestra Meche, aprendiendo también del amor de Jesús.
