Hello, we are really happy to greet you and share a Little of what God has been doing in our lives recently.
We give thanks to God for this new year 2017. This weekend our church, Calvary Chapel Rosarito ordained me as pastor of a new church plant, Calvary Chapel Living Hope in Guadalajara.
I also had the opportunity to share the vision of the church.
#1 PREACH THE WORD. The Bible is our ultimate authority, in our lives, our family and also in the church. We will teach the whole counsel of God chapter by chapter, verse by verse, knowing that the bible contains all we need to know God in a personal way.
#2 EXALT THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Philippians 2:5-11 says Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. He died to Himself, left his glory to come to a fallen world, He became a man, He humbled Himself and suffered the cross…HE WAS OBEDIENT! It makes me think of something: If Jesus being God was obedient, who are we to be disobedient? And to go where He has called us! Jesus is our supreme example. For what He did, God gave Him the highest place, He gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. It suprising what a day holds!! As Christians and as children of God, heaven is real for us, for this reason we want more people to go there. This takes us to point three, the third thing we want to do as a church:
#3 REACH OUT! We want to focus on the unsaved, those who have not heard of Jesus, those who have an incorrect view of Him, those who have not been born again, those people who have fallen away from God! According to the Bible, when a sinner repents, it is a joyful day, there is rejoicing in heaven. God has called us to this. We want to share the love of God and the hope that we have in Christ. That is why the name of this new church is important: Calvary Chapel Living Hope… That the people would know that in a fallen world, we can live sure and trust. Because it is Christ in us, the hope of glory. We believe God will do great things in Guadalajara.
WE WILL HAVE OUR FIRST SERVICE SUNDAY JANUARY 22, 2017!!! Please Pray For this city. For this church and Please pray for us.

Lo primero que quiero compartir en esta actualización es que Dios es bueno. Mi corazón está muy agradecido con las personas que nos apoyan en oración y económicamente para servir a Dios en Guadalajara. Gracias!! Algunas de estas personas hablaron conmigo y me dijeron que podrían ayudarnos a establecernos y apoyarnos por un año. Un tiempo que ya terminó. Después de orar y pedir dirección a Dios, sabía que necesitaba trabajar para no solamente proveer para mi familia, sino también para poder ser generoso y poder ayudar a personas necesitadas que Dios ha puesto en mi camino. Hice un plan de negocios que compartí con mi pastor y el me animo con estas palabras: es un gran plan, es normal para un pastor tener un trabajo. También es verdad que eventualmente la iglesia debe proveer para el pastor y su familia. Pero eso toma tiempo! Así que compartí este plan con 3 personas que siempre han creído en el llamado de Dios para mí y también han sido muy generosos con mi familia. De esta manera tuvi

Hello everyone, on this occasion, I, Linda, am writing this blog update.  I think that it’s important to share with you a little of our testimony –what God has done, and what he is doing in our family, since there are new people following our blog, new friends and family in the faith. “I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me.”   –Daniel 4:2 Eduardo was born and raised in Guadalajara.  Afterward, he lived in the United States.  His life was filled with bad decisions and he didn’t know Christ.  At twenty-four years old, he came to Ensenada, Baja California to Rancho Poema, a place for discipleship.  That is where he surrendered his heart to Christ and got to know His love.  He is now thirty-one years old and has seven years walking with the Lord.  I am from Sonora and since I was a little girl, I had the blessing of growing up in a Christian family.  But at the same time, I was a youth who was filled with fears and insecur

Hello everyone, we are very happy to be able to share this update with you.  This month of November we complete one year at Grace Children’s Home.  It has been a time where we have learned to love and to serve these children, and without a doubt, we will miss them.  But at the same time we are content to know that God has guided us to this point and we will take them with us in our prayers and in our hearts.  Thanks to all, we love you!!! On the 22nd of November, we will travel along with our pastor and some friends to Guadalajara.  We will be there a few days praying for the city and seeking God’s direction for a good place to start the church, Calvary Chapel Living Hope, in February of 2017.  Can you pray for us? –That God would open doors and that we would be able to see what God wants to do in this place!  Pray for the people who have heard the gospel, that Jesus would shine in thier hearts.
