On November 4th, we started a children’s ministry. There are many dysfunctional families (addictions, single moms, dads in prison, etc.) with young children that live around the church. Seeing the need to reach them, we designed a kid’s club on Saturdays called “Mark 10:14”. The focus of the club is to give them a happy environment with Bible classes, games, and a tasty meal. It is a place where they are learning that there is a God that loves them. We have 30-35 children from 4 to 12 years old. It is a blessing for us to be able to serve them, and like Jesus says in Mark 10:14: Let the children come to him. We ask for your prayers for the children, for their families, and that God would continue providing for this ministry. We invite you to be a part of 10:14 Club. You can do so by providing for one of the Saturday meals. We want to continue blessing the children and their families in 2018. El 4 de noviembre de este año comenzamos un ministerio de niños. Al rededor de la iglesia viven muchas familias disfuncionales (Adicciones, madres solteras, padres en prisi ón, etc) con niños pequeños. Viendo la necesidad de alcanzarles diseñamos un club de niños los días sábado, se llama “Marcos 10:14”. El enfoque del club es darles un ambiente alegre, con clases bíblicas, juegos y una rica comida.  Es un lugar donde ellos están aprendiendo qué hay un Dios que les ama. Tenemos de 30-35 niños de 4 a 12 años. Es una bendición para nosotros poder servirles, y como dice Jesus en Marcos 10:14: Dejar que los niños vengan a él. Pedimos de tus oraciones por los niños, por sus familias y para Dios siga proveyendo para este ministerio. Te invitamos a ser parte del Club10:14. Puedes hacerlo apoyando para una comida de sábado. Hola a todos! Quiero compartir con ustedes un poco de lo qué pasó el mes de octubre. Fue un mes muy bendecido, lleno de actividades. A principios del mes tuvimos la visita del primer grupo misionero en la iglesia. Fueron 18 personas !!! (6 de Capilla Calvario Santa Bárbara y 12 Capilla Calvario Rosarito) Estuvieron una semana con nosotros. Devocionales Evangelismo en la calle. Servicio de miércoles Reunión de mujeres Alcance Reunión de hombres Feria de niños Servicio de domingo. Personas por primera vez vinieron a la iglesia, escucharon la palabra de Dios, aceptaron a Cristo como su señor y salvador y ahora siguen congregándose. Doy gracias a Dios por sus vidas, fue una gran ayuda bendición tenerles aquí! La iglesia fue animada y bendecida en conocerles y muchas personas escucharon por primera vez el evangelio! Hello everyone! I want to share with you a little bit of what happened in October. It was a very blessed month, full of activities. At the beginning of the month we had the very first missions team visit the church. There were 18 people! (6 were from Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara and 12 were from Calvary Chapel Rosarito) They were with us for a week. Devotionals Street evangelism Wednesday service Women´s night Outreach Men´s night Children's Fair Sunday service People came to the church for the first time, listened to the word of God, accepted Christ as their lord and Savior and now continue attending. I thank God for their lives. It was a great blessing to have them here! The church was encouraged and blessed to meet them, and many people heard the gospel for the first time! Thank you, Jeff and Bonnie Johnson, for leading and organizing this trip. I had the opportunity to go to the Calvary Chapel pastor´s conference in Tijuana. I

Hola a todos, estamos felices de poder compartir con ustedes lo que está pasando en Guadalajara. Hace 2 semanas nuestro pastor Mike Vincent,  Fernando Serrano, Bradford Larson y sus 3 hijos vinieron a visitarnos desde Rosarito Baja California. Tuvimos un gran fin de semana junto a ellos. Personalmente fue de mucho ánimo sentarme y hablar acerca del ministerio y la familia.  Es una bendición escuchar consejo y recibir oración de mis mentores y amigos. Doy gracias a Dios por sus vidas y por el tiempo que tomaron para venir. Dios me está enseñando a ser un mejor pastor, a enseñar y cuidar de la congregación que me ha confiado y principalmente a ser un  buen padre y esposo. El  sábado nos compartieron una serie de conferencias, miramos 3  Fundamentos de nuestra fe: Jesucristo, salvación, Iglesia. La congregación (que en su mayoría son nuevos creyentes) estaba muy atenta de escuchar la palabra y aprender más acerca de Jesucristo. Fueron animados y estaban felices por la visita.

Hello everyone! We are happy to be able to share what is happening in Guadalajara with you.  Two weeks ago, our pastor Mike Vincent, along with Fernando Serrano, Bradford Larson and their 3 sons came to visit us from Rosarito, Baja California. We had a great weekend with them. It was really encouraging for me personally, to be able to sit down and talk about the ministry and my family. It is a blessing to hear advice and receive prayer from my mentors and friends. I thank God for their lives and for the time that they took to come. God is teaching me to be a better pastor, to teach and take care of the congregation that he has trusted me with, and most of all to be a good father and husband. Hello everyone, on this occasion, I, Linda, am writing this blog update.  I think that it’s important to share with you a little of our testimony –what God has done, and what he is doing in our family, since there are new people following our blog, new friends and family in the faith. “I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me.”   –Daniel 4:2 Eduardo was born and raised in Guadalajara.  Afterward, he lived in the United States.  His life was filled with bad decisions and he didn’t know Christ.  At twenty-four years old, he came to Ensenada, Baja California to Rancho Poema, a place for discipleship.  That is where he surrendered his heart to Christ and got to know His love.  He is now thirty-one years old and has seven years walking with the Lord.  I am from Sonora and since I was a little girl, I had the blessing of growing up in a Christian family.  But at the same time, I was a youth who was filled with fears and insecur
