Hello family and friends! I am truly impressed by how fast time flies by. Our last update was in June! I want to share with you about what God has been doing in Guadalajara. Church: We are studying 1 John on Sundays and the book of Acts on Wednesdays. Seeing the brethren growing in their knowledge of God, developing their gifts, and starting to get involved in serving in God´s work gives me great joy. I am thankful for our church, Calvary Chapel Rosarito, visiting us. They really encouraged us, and it was a blessing for everyone. They helped us to remodel our sanctuary. We also had evangelism, an outreach for children, a marriage conference, a women´s conference, and baptisms. Missions: On November 2nd we had our church´s first mission trip. We went to Tuxpan, Nayarit (about 4 hours away from Guadalajara). This village suffered flooding due to Hurricane Willa and one of its rivers overflowing. People went up on their roofs for safety since their houses were underwate

Lo primero que quiero compartir en esta actualización es que Dios es bueno. Mi corazón está muy agradecido con las personas que nos apoyan en oración y económicamente para servir a Dios en Guadalajara. Gracias!! Algunas de estas personas hablaron conmigo y me dijeron que podrían ayudarnos a establecernos y apoyarnos por un año. Un tiempo que ya terminó. Después de orar y pedir dirección a Dios, sabía que necesitaba trabajar para no solamente proveer para mi familia, sino también para poder ser generoso y poder ayudar a personas necesitadas que Dios ha puesto en mi camino. Hice un plan de negocios que compartí con mi pastor y el me animo con estas palabras: es un gran plan, es normal para un pastor tener un trabajo. También es verdad que eventualmente la iglesia debe proveer para el pastor y su familia. Pero eso toma tiempo! Así que compartí este plan con 3 personas que siempre han creído en el llamado de Dios para mí y también han sido muy generosos con mi familia. De esta manera tuvi

The first thing I want to share in this update is that God is good.  My heart is very grateful for the people who support us in prayer and financially to serve God in Guadalajara. Thank you!! Some of these people spoke with me and told me they could help us to get started and support us for a year, a time that is over. After praying and asking God for direction, I knew that I needed to work, not only to provide for my family but also to be more generous with people that God has put into my life. I made a business plan that I shared with my pastor, and he encouraged me with these words: It is a great plan. It is normal for a pastor to have a job. It is also true that eventually the church should provide for you and your family. But that takes time! So I shared this plan with 3 people who have always believed in me and have also been very generous to my family! They had the confidence to be partners and invest in me. Thank you very much! In May we started a small family business. 

Hello. We want to share with you some of the things that God has been doing in Guadalajara. We are very thankful for the opportunity and privilege of serving the Lord. It is incredible to start a church and be in the front row, seeing God work in the lives of the people. Thank you for helping make this possible through your prayers and support. - 1st Anniversary God has been faithful. On January 22 nd , we had our one-year anniversary as a church. During this time, we have been studying the book of John. It was a blessing to go through this entire gospel and to see how one Sunday after another the people received and learned from the best example, Jesus. After praying about which book we would study next, we ended up starting a 7-week series called BASICS: Bible, Salvation, Church, Sin, Communion, Prayer, and Grace. Hola queremos compartir contigo algo de lo que Dios ha estado haciendo en Guadalajara. Estamos muy agradecidos por la oportunidad y privilegio de servir al Señor. El comenzar una iglesia y estar en primera fila viendo a Dios obrar en la vida de las personas es increíble. Gracias por ayudarnos a hacer esto posible a través de tus oraciones y apoyo. - 1er aniversario Dios a sido fiel. El 22 de enero cumplimos nuestro primer año como iglesia, durante este tiempo estuvimos estudiando el libro de Juan. Fue una bendición haber ido a través de todo este evangelio y ver cómo domingo tras domingo la gente recibía y aprendía del mejor ejemplo, Jesús. Después de orar para saber que libro estudiaríamos, iniciamos una serie de 7 semanas llamada BÁSICOS: Biblia, Salvación, Iglesia, pecado, Comunión, oración y Gracia.
