Update Blog 2018♥

Hello. We want to share with you some of the things that God has been doing in Guadalajara. We are very thankful for the opportunity and privilege of serving the Lord. It is incredible to start a church and be in the front row, seeing God work in the lives of the people. Thank you for helping make this possible through your prayers and support.
- 1st Anniversary
God has been faithful. On January 22nd, we had our one-year anniversary as a church. During this time, we have been studying the book of John. It was a blessing to go through this entire gospel and to see how one Sunday after another the people received and learned from the best example, Jesus. After praying about which book we would study next, we ended up starting a 7-week series called BASICS: Bible, Salvation, Church, Sin, Communion, Prayer, and Grace. The purpose of this series is to strengthen our faith.
 - Vacation
After a year serving God in Guadalajara, we took a week-long vacation! We had a wonderful time with our family in Sonora, and visiting our pastors, friends, and church in Calvary Chapel Rosarito. I had the opportunity to share with them about what God is doing here. We were really happy to have had that time and we feel motivated to continue with our calling.

- 2nd Service
On Sunday, March 4th, we started a second service Sundays at 6 pm. The reason we started this service is not because we ran out of space (God blessed us with a large space). The reason is that there is a group of people that come on Wednesday evenings who cannot attend on Sundays, because they work in the morning. We want to be a blessing for more people, without the time being a hindrance. The desire of my heart is that more people would be reached through the power of the Gospel.

The last thing that I want to share is a prayer request. Guadalajara is a super religious and traditional city that has been evangelized very little. More than 90% of the population is catholic. Many people here are not open to the Gospel because Christianity seems strange to them. We believe that prayer is powerful, and that there are walls that only come down by praying. Please help us to pray for our city, that people could know God as their own personal God, more than just a religion.
Once again, thank you for your support, and may God bless you.
