We want to share this small blog update with you. It is beautiful to trust in the Lord and see His Word show itself real in our lives. We are seeing the favor of God in our family.

After spending some time in Sonora with our family, God showed us that it was time to return to our church Calvary Chapel Rosarito and continue to do His will. We are back in Rosarito and very happy with our baby Abigail, excited to be able to serve the Lord as a family. Last Sunday, we dedicated Abigail, we made a commitment before God to guide her in the Word and be an example for her. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon her!!!

God opened a door for us to serve full time in Grace Children’s Home Orphanage.
Grace Children’s Home (GCH) stands as a beacon of God’s love in the city of Tijuana to fulfill God’s commandment of caring for “the least of these” (Matt. 25:40. They do this by caring for abused, neglected or orphaned children. They reach the local community with spiritual and physical assistance. GCH houses over 30 children of all ages in three group homes, the Boys House, the Girls House and the Nursery.
We have already completed our first week of work. We are helping in grocery shopping, purchasing school supplies, looking for donations, driving, etc. They are administrative things that are very necessary to get done and that we enjoy doing, but more importantly, we want to invest in the spiritual. We are helping to disciple, sharing the Word of God, teaching them to apply it to their daily lives. We believe that if a child knows the love of God, his or her life will change in every area. Lo primero que quiero compartir en esta actualización es que Dios es bueno. Mi corazón está muy agradecido con las personas que nos apoyan en oración y económicamente para servir a Dios en Guadalajara. Gracias!! Algunas de estas personas hablaron conmigo y me dijeron que podrían ayudarnos a establecernos y apoyarnos por un año. Un tiempo que ya terminó. Después de orar y pedir dirección a Dios, sabía que necesitaba trabajar para no solamente proveer para mi familia, sino también para poder ser generoso y poder ayudar a personas necesitadas que Dios ha puesto en mi camino. Hice un plan de negocios que compartí con mi pastor y el me animo con estas palabras: es un gran plan, es normal para un pastor tener un trabajo. También es verdad que eventualmente la iglesia debe proveer para el pastor y su familia. Pero eso toma tiempo! Hello everyone, on this occasion, I, Linda, am writing this blog update.  I think that it’s important to share with you a little of our testimony –what God has done, and what he is doing in our family, since there are new people following our blog, new friends and family in the faith. “I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me.”   –Daniel 4:2 Eduardo was born and raised in Guadalajara.  Afterward, he lived in the United States.  His life was filled with bad decisions and he didn’t know Christ.  At twenty-four years old, he came to Ensenada, Baja California to Rancho Poema, a place for discipleship.  That is where he surrendered his heart to Christ and got to know His love.  He is now thirty-one years old and has seven years walking with the Lord.  I am from Sonora and since I was a little girl, I had the blessing of growing up in a Christian family.  But at the same time, I was a youth who was filled with fears and insecur

Hello everyone, we are very happy to be able to share this update with you.  This month of November we complete one year at Grace Children’s Home.  It has been a time where we have learned to love and to serve these children, and without a doubt, we will miss them.  But at the same time we are content to know that God has guided us to this point and we will take them with us in our prayers and in our hearts.  Thanks to all, we love you!!! On the 22nd of November, we will travel along with our pastor and some friends to Guadalajara.  We will be there a few days praying for the city and seeking God’s direction for a good place to start the church, Calvary Chapel Living Hope, in February of 2017.  Can you pray for us? –That God would open doors and that we would be able to see what God wants to do in this place!  Pray for the people who have heard the gospel, that Jesus would shine in thier hearts.
